A mutual friend of ours, Eduard, introduced Ivan and me in 2014 while we were having drinks. Ivan started working at CMS in 2015, and we have been friends ever since.

We had both been single for many years, and I began praying to God to send someone into my life—a partner who would love me unconditionally. Little did I know, God had already answered my prayers. I just needed to listen. Ivan would often walk around to reception to talk to me and genuinely show interest in my day. Secretly, I looked forward to our daily chats.

All the while, Ivan showed absolute commitment to his studies. He was always heads down in his books—a level of dedication that anyone would admire. He had set aside that time to fully focus and be present on his career path.

I invited Ivan to a Rotary car rally fundraiser—where I drove and he was the navigator. We got lost once but quickly found our way again. It was then that I realized just how caring and thoughtful he was.

One day, I told him he had to join us on an adventure: let’s do a bucket list run and sign up for the Two Oceans. The catch? He had to register the very next day… and just like that, he did.

The rest, as they say, is history—and now an incredible future awaits. My prayers were answered, and so much more. God has blessed us with our beautiful bundle of joy, Michaela Grace, and with a brilliant future ahead together as husband and wife.
